Separate distribution "pools" are created for particular client types. Under their agreement with AMCOS each client must provide details of works reproduced on a quarterly basis. Royalties are allocated to the owners of those works, which have been reported as having been reproduced in each category. Currently the separate distribution pools are as follows:

Reproduction income is distributed on a six monthly basis as follows:

• receipts for the December and March quarters in the June quarter distribution
• receipts for the June and September quarters in the December quarter distribution
